ABOUT US

SANTA GIULIA S.A. is a family business founded by brothers Pedro and José Somma. Since their youth, they have carefully selected and acquired cattle for slaughter. After years of experience in the Argentine beef industry, they decided to make their dream of bringing "from farm to plate" a reality.

In 2010, we acquired Plant No. 1352, a pioneering establishment renowned worldwide for its cooked products (Meatex and CEPA brands). This beef processing plant is equipped to produce sides of beef, quarters, and bone-in and boneless cuts. We also process fresh, cooked, frozen, and chilled offal. All products are developed for the most demanding markets and meet the highest quality standards.

FEEDLOT

At the end of 2017, they incorporated Proteco, their own feedlot, with the goal of ensuring the highest quality and full traceability throughout the entire production chain.
Thanks to this investment, they strengthened their vertical integration model, guaranteeing a constant supply of top-quality livestock for the packing plant and offering customers meat that meets the most demanding standards of international markets.
